To all our valued horse customers,
As many of you know we have had some horses refuse to eat some of our horse feeds over the past few weeks, and we have been working hard to get to the bottom of this. The first thing we did was have our feeds tested, every test we did came back exactly as it should have for mineral levels with no contaminants detected. This led us to look at some of the ingredients and when we received the new product, we narrowed it down to 3 possible culprits. After much testing and examining we have come to the conclusion it is the vegetable oil we add to aid in the pelletizing process, for reasons unknown to us it had a faint off smell. This has since been fixed and we are making feed as fast as we can with the new oil and every horse owner that has tested the new batches of feed has had success.
