🦃🐾 BARK INN’S THANKSGIVING FOOD & SUPPLY DRIVE FOR PRETTY IN PINK RESCUE! 🐾🩷
This Thanksgiving, we want to use our little Bark Inn community to help fill some bellies and cupboards for dogs in need. 🤍
From now until October 12th, Bark Inn will be collecting food and supplies for Pretty in Pink Animal Rescue!
Many of the foster dogs who have come through our home have been through Pretty in Pink, so this rescue is very close to our hearts. 🩷 Like so many rescues, they rely heavily on donations to help feed and care for the dogs waiting for their forever homes — and with the number of animals needing help, those supplies can disappear incredibly quickly.
🍂 WHAT WE’RE COLLECTING:
🐶 Dry dog & puppy food — opened bags are welcome as long as the food is still fresh and in its original packaging!
🦴 Dog treats & chews
🐾 Puppy p*e pads
🥫 Canned/wet dog food
🍼 Puppy formula & puppy supplies
🧸 New or gently used dog toys
🛏️ Dog beds
🧺 Clean blankets & towels
🦮 Leashes, collars & harnesses in good condition
🍽️ Food & water bowls
💩 P**p bags
🧼 Pet-safe cleaning supplies
🧴 Dog shampoo & basic grooming supplies
🧻 Paper towel and other everyday rescue supplies
Every donation counts. Whether it’s an extra bag of treats, a blanket you no longer use, a few cans of food or an entire bag of kibble, it all adds up when a community comes together. 🥹🩷
📍 DONATIONS CAN BE DROPPED OFF AT BARK INN
We’ll be piling everything we collect along the back wall of our office from now until Thanksgiving. If you’re already coming to Bark Inn to drop off or pick up your dog for boarding, consider bringing an extra item along for a foster dog in need! 🐾
You absolutely do not need to be a Bark Inn client to participate either!
If you’d like to drop off a donation outside of a scheduled Bark Inn appointment, please bring it around to our back-alley office entrance and leave it on the back deck. Our cameras will notify us that someone has stopped by, so donations won’t be left sitting outside for long. 😊
Because Bark Inn operates by appointment only, we will not answer the door for unscheduled donation drop-offs. Once you’ve left your donation, please send our page or phone number a quick text/message letting us know your name and what you dropped off so we can keep track of everything coming in and make sure we can properly recognize everyone who contributed! 🩷
🦃 THEN, AT THANKSGIVING…
We’ll gather everything together for one big photo so everyone can see just how much our community was able to raise! We’ll tag and thank our donors who are comfortable being recognized, then load everything up and deliver it to Pretty in Pink Animal Rescue in Prince Albert. 🩷
Some of the dogs who have stayed under our roof while waiting for their forever families have depended on rescue donations just like these. We know firsthand how much a full food bowl, a clean blanket, a treat and the basic supplies we sometimes take for granted can mean.
Let’s fill that back wall. 🥹🐾
