Ground ties to saddle, loads, clips, baths, good for the farrier. No buck, more go than whoah. Rides out nice. Very quiet and well mannered. Nice mare, sound, no maintenance req’d. Best suited for the above riding activities.

This will probably be my last post on the Sereda Stock Farm Page.
Today was our complete dispersal sale and it leaves me with a lot of mixed emotions. I’m really happy with all the people that came out to support us and the sale was great! I’m going to miss the cattle and all the superb people we have encountered along the way. Now I’m excited to see what the next chapter brings for us.
To all the people who helped us along the way, and there were many. I thank you.

We are getting closer to our end of the road sale. Only 9 days away on Monday September 30 here at the farm. Check the link to the sale for all the listings and equipment pictures. You will find some video and pictures of cows as well.

The calves are all home and the cows are back out to pasture. Tomorrow is the day! Our customer appreciation/ silent auction on heifer calves, a hand full of bull calves, our 2 junior herd sires and the remainder of our Semen.
Silent auction from 11:00 am - 2:30 pm.
Burgers and beverages all day!
If the weather doesn’t cooperate we have the facilities to take it all in doors.

Picture of Zaire 129Z as a yearling and as a mature bull. Zaire helped or program tremendously, producing some of the fanciest females in our herd! Zaire moved on to service John and Darla Collins herd in Saskatchewan a few years ago.

Pictures of Homozygous polled Red Rock 136W as a 2 year Old and as a Mature bull. Red Rock has been one of the most influential bulls in the Salers breed of the last decade in Canada.

A few pictures from tonight’s cow check. Tag numbers for all and the DNA testing results for Mac Evanston 257E listed in captions. All the bred heifers in our upcoming dispersal are bred to this bull. He is calm, easy to handle and loves a scratch! He will be available as well as his heifers and a few bull calves from his first calf crop at our customer appreciation day/silent auction Monday, September 2 here at the farm. Only 15 days away!
