With the show season over it’s time to reflect and brag on CAT aka SHESA SUPERSMART CAT.
My first attempt at training a cutting horse went better than I could have hoped for.
She won money at every show we went to.
Brought home the buckle in the Rookie Ranch class (my first buckle showing horses). Finally got to take off my old bull riding buckle
Ended up 3rd in 1500 transition class
Got our first winner circle picture
Added over 1000$ to her and my LTE
Carried her other owner Ava (who’s 6 years old) in her first appearance in the Future Stars class at the Alberta Stock Horse Association show.
When she’s not being shown in the cutting she’s Ava’s 4H horse
I couldn’t be more excited to show her at some NCHA shows next year and see how we fit in with the big boys and girls.
I know when I’m older I’ll look back on this horse and say “this is the one that changed my career”
I’m lucky to get to throw a leg over her and even luckier to watch the next generation do the same.
You couldn’t offer me enough money to part with this one (well maybe you could 😉 but it would have to be ALOT of money)
