Saturday Grooming appointments are available on a rotating schedule, during the hours of 10:00AM - 4:00PM. Please call in advance for any walk in services and to book a Saturday opening. Grooming prices vary on the size of dog, condition of coat and service requested. Prices range from $30.00 scrub down to Bath & Tidy $50.00 plus, and Full Monty $55.00 plus. Check out 'The Paw Pad Retreat and Recovery' page. I am starting to work there this week. We are accepting applications for dog daycare and grooming. I really hope that I will see some of my amazing fur babies and their owners here. I already know that some have signed up. Very excited. It is a new adventure.

Stephanie here. I am very excited to announce that I have been hired to be a part time employee at The Paw Pad Retreat & Recovery Center opening up soon at 1898 St. Margaret's Bay Rd in Timberlea. It is a canine wellness retreat providing social/physical activity, grooming, and a place to rest and recover when needed. A new chapter to begin. I hope to see lots of familiar faces drop by and check it out. I miss working with dogs very much so I am happy that the opportunity has come around again.

Sadly we are looking for a new furever home for one of Robynne MacIntosh's pups. Some of you already know Dou Ding. He was a regular 'employee' at Sittin' Pretty. He is one of the most sweetest and loving boys you will ever meet.
About Dou Ding: He is a 7-8 year old Schnauzer. He is a dog that takes a little time to warm up to new people but once he knows and loves you, he is the biggest baby. Loves to snuggle and give kisses. Will be your permanent shadow. Also your bed companion.
Being a schnauzer, Dou Ding likes to bark. He barks at new people, other dogs, the wind... so apartment life may not be suitable.
He gets along well with other dogs and loves to socialize, but he also can act jealous so he wouldn't mind being the only dog in your home.
He is completely house trained but may try to mark territory in a new house. Usually has no accidents.
Not too sure about little kids or cats. Has never been introduced to them to my knowledge.
Dou Ding does have skin allergies. Haven't been able to pinpoint exactly what causes it. He does require baths in a special hypoallergenic shampoo. Food must have no chicken or chicken by product in it.
He is up to date on all vaccines. His medical record will be provided.
Anyone who thinks that this may be the perfect dog for you please contact Stephanie Thorne on messenger. He will only be put in the best home that is approved. I know lots of our wonderful clients would be great owners of Doodi as Robynne affectionately called him.

Re: Robynne MacIntosh's visitation. People may go inside in groups of 5 but the maximum allowed inside is 50 people. People can still gather outside if the max is reached. Also I will be doing a video of all the beautiful picture tributes, table setup etc. to post on this page later. Please keep all her family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

Hi. This is Stephanie posting. I would like to request for people who are coming to the visitation on Saturday to bring pictures of their dogs with their names on the back (and yours) so I can put them in a special album in her memory for all the dogs she loved and cared for. It would be a keepsake for me to have so I will be close to her and always remember our wonderful clients and their dogs.
