She is skiddish and is easily spooked, which makes it likely that she was scared. I’m hopeful we will find her! She is a bit overweight and has a heart murmur. Thank you in advance! “

With only a stray hold pound, there is no support for new animal families so people turn to social media for help. Rehousing through social media means there are no checks and balances to ensure a good home, and there is no support for people to be able to train animals and thus retain them. Looking for a forever home for a sweet girl due to an urgent family situation. 🐾

“We picked up Luna, a beautiful 10-month-old black Labrador/Shepherd mix, last night. She is an absolute angel and incredibly gentle (as you can see in the photo, she instantly bonded with the kids and was so sweet with them). However, we ran into an unexpected situation at home: my elderly parents who live with us are severely terrified of her size and are experiencing intense anxiety. It is entirely my fault for not realizing their phobia earlier, and it is heartbreakingly clear that our home isn’t the right fit due to this.

**Before we arrange to take her all the way back to her previous owner on the South Shore, we want to see if a loving family in the West Island area would like to welcome her. She comes with everything: a huge bag of food, a leash, a collar, and an outdoor bed. **

She is currently with us in Beaconsfield. A reasonable rehoming fee applies just to cover what we paid. Please PM/DM me if you are interested or would like more details. Thank you!”
