Yesterday the puppies started opening their eyes. This is always my favourite time! Their behaviour changes noticeably too, it's obvious they can see, and so they act differently, much more curious and interactive. Development occurring in leaps and bounds. Won't be too long until they start experimenting with semi solid food.

Proud breeder moment 😊
Xena's a Champion! Here are her win photos from Kilbride Kennel Club last weekend, where she won her second Best Puppy in Show, and she also finished her Championship by getting Best of Breed followed by a Group 3rd! Among some of the top sporting dogs! A huge honour, especially since she's just under 7 months old. Her second Best Puppy in Show (and 9 Best Puppy in Group) has moved her to the number 1 Gsp puppy in Canada!
She loves strutting around the show ring, she thinks shows are FUN, and and her great attitude along with her conformation makes her really stand out. Thank you to all the judges who have awarded her so far, and a special thanks to Rebecca Dickson for all her handling and loving Xena, and showing her a fun time 😊

5 days old today! Everyone is gaining weight nicely and getting super strong.
For names, we went with a litter theme of 'insects', since Juno's nickname is 'June-bug' and it's our first litter born in the summer, and there are so many cool bugs out there right now.
