Fun runs happening in Yarmouth! 😊

There will also be CKC tests all weekend (starting at 9 am) for anyone interested in watching. Susie and I will be running!

I’m working on revamping my puppy classes and creating a new puppy program, and I need your input!

Someone tell me I don’t need a Border Collie 😍

I had so much fun with Belle at our first in person visit! Like any typical puppy, Belle has lots of energy, so we discussed ways to manage common puppy behaviours like jumping and nipping. We also talked about adding brain games and appropriate outlets to help keep this girl’s busy mind fulfilled.

She is such a little smarty pants and picked things up so quickly. I’m so excited to watch her grow!

Basic Skills Class Grads (minus one) 🎓

Congratulations to our latest Basic Skills graduates!

Over the last few weeks, these teams have worked on engagement, focus around distractions, real-life skills, and learning how to navigate the world together. We’ve also spent time helping our dogs learn how to settle, regulate their excitement, and make thoughtful choices in challenging situations.

Thank you to everyone who joined this class and trusted me to be part of your training journey. It’s been a pleasure watching the progress each team has made and seeing the relationships between dogs and their people grow stronger each week.

Remember that training doesn’t end when class does. Keep practicing, celebrate the small wins, and enjoy the journey with your dog.

Congratulations everyone, and I hope to see you again in future classes! 🐾

Puppy class grads 🎓

A big congratulations to our puppy class graduates!

Over the last few weeks, these puppies have worked on confidence building, puppy life skills, appropriate play and social interactions, handling exercises, enrichment, and more. We’ve watched them try new things, build skills, and grow in confidence each week.

We’ve been BUSY the last week or so! Sorry for the delayed responses.

Remi finished two legs towards his CARO Rally excellent!

Susie got her SDDA Started title and her Advanced Interior (scent work), and she got to do her favourite thing ever yesterday, sprinter!

It was so nice to see clients come out and try sprinter for the first time!! The dogs were all so happy to be there and had so much fun 😊

I’m sure I’m missing pictures, but I’ve included a few of them!
