There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish when we come together. Over the years I’ve seen how strong we are both as individuals and as a collective. It’s so important for us women to stick together, lift each-other up, be there for one another, and keep each other in check within the good or bad — because that’s real love right there. Happy Valentine’s Day ! If you guys are rockin’ any of our lovely pink or purple colorways, please make sure to tag us today in your stories so that we can see it! Which is your favorite Litto Howler pink/purple colorway? Mine will always be Pink Starburst because it’s got such a beautiful ✨pop✨ of pink to it. It’s truly and underrated colorway. But, right now I’m also in love with Crimson Stardust because it’s out of this world trippy. The shift this colorways offers is absolutely wild.

This colorway was sold out during the Winter ‘23: Galaxy Collection, but I can finally confirm that it is coming back in stock for ONE last time either by the end of this month or the beginning of the next. Stay tuned because this will be the absolute last of it ✨💜

P-51 Auto-Locking Carabiner✨

I am beyond thrilled that we’re finally able to introduce you guys to our new hardware. We’ve been waiting quite a long time for this moment, & although it’s not the exact timing I was expecting to make this announcement, my Reps & I are super excited that the cat is finally out the bag. Introducing y’all to the P-51 Auto-Locking Carabiner, stronger than ever before — not to mention, cute af 🙇🏻‍♀️

As pioneers of creating leashes with auto-locking carabiners, we’re constantly looking for ways to be innovative with our design & craft. Not only do we create the safest dog leashes on the planet, but we also make some original, good looking products that last through all types of adventures. The P-51 Auto-Locking Carabiner is named after the North American P-51 Mustang; an American long-range, single seat fighter aircraft used during World War II & the Korean War. My late grandfather was a Four-Star General of the Korean Air-Force & Chief of Staff. He flew the P-51 Mustang during the Korean War 82 times; which during that time, was basically like playing a game of black or red in roulettes in terms of surviving. I’m extremely proud of being a granddaughter of someone so brave & inspiring. I’ve learned some of my most valuable lessons from this man that I’ll cherish forever. Although this is just a dog leash brand, it’s also an Asian, Woman-Owned, & human-run business, where every litto detail comes from deep within my heart. This small business is made up of my experiences & story at the end of the day 🫶🏽

Just like our previous carabiners, the P-51 Auto-Locking Carabiner is made of aviation aluminum — a super light, yet durable material made specifically for aircrafts. The carabiner is the exact same size as before. I mentioned above that it’s stronger than ever. That’s because it can withstand a force of 1300lbs, which makes this litto carabiner, the strongest out there. The only physical design difference of the P-51 from the previous carabiner is the curved design that oh-so fits perfectly into the hands — more specially your fingers to get a good grip ✊🏽

✨RESTOCK ALERT✨

Just hopping on here real quick to let you guys know we have a surprise restock online now! We restocked the Litto Howler Chunky Woven Toque in both the colors Mustard and Navy that sold out in a matter of seconds during the drop. When I say surprise restock, I mean it! We also threw in a new color: Grey + Ranger Green Embroidery. This is the last beanie restock on the winter season until next time. These beanies will sadly never make a comeback again, so get your hands on them while we’ve got them! Here are some of the other goodies we added: a few leftover Wild Child Hoodies we had from the drop, and lastly we added some Howler Collars that has been sold out for a while now in the colors: Yosemite Forest, Antelope Canyon, Glacier Ice, Terra Nova, and Black Canyon.

In a perfect world we’d be restocking the Galaxy Collection Leash Colorways. But since we’re still working on drop day orders, we will not be restocking them yet. It’s now been 8 weeks since the drop and although we’re working our butts off to get these orders out the doors, I can’t ignore how patient you guys have been. Drops are always hard for us because we receive an influx of orders at once. Since our leashes are all hand crafted with precision, they take longer than other companies that mate get their leashes manufactured. Thank you guys for understanding the process. It means the world to us. We’re doing our absolute best to finish off the rest of these orders and restock the Galaxy Collection (leash colorways) one last time. No rain, no flowers 🌸

Happy New Year ! Shop owner Jess here! I can’t believe it’s 2023 already. I want to say it was a long year for me personally, but it also flew by? 🤔 Does anyone else feel like that? I wanted to pop in here really quick to wish everyone an amazing new year. In korean, we say 새해복 많이 받으세요! Which translates to: Wishing you lots of luck on the New Year!

As a new year starts, I can’t help but reflect on the previous year. Last year around this time, I made goals for the new year, but I’m not gonna lie; I never made it. Lots of unexpected things happened that made me totally forget my path, & to be quite honest, I felt lost. But ya know, that’s life, & I’m a firm believer in “better late than never”. So, I’ll be making the same goals as last year & get back up to try again. Some of the goals were:
1. To move with intention in whatever I do 🏃🏻‍♀️
2. Do more things that will make future Jess happy 😊
3. Spend more time outdoors — which I feel I did, but who doesn’t want more time outdoors? 🌱

I want to end this post with a huge thank you. If you supported Litto Howler this year; whether it was through purchasing from one of our drops or just sharing our business with your friends, here’s a virtual hug 🫂. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. We had an epic year, & ya’ll just wait for what’s in store this year. We’ve already got so much planned & I can’t wait to share with you guys when the time comes. I feel so blessed to have the best supporters to call family. Y’all rock & really, thank you guys for being a part of this journey. As I had stated above, this year was rocky. I had some unexpected health issues, every month felt like a battle, & I feel pretty wounded I’m not gonna lie. But I manifest that 2023 will be a year of healing, because no rain, no flowers baby. Adventure Rep Intro:

Merry Christmas Eve ! Happy Hanukah & Happy Holidays! We are now at our final day 10 of the 10 Days of Howliday Cheer Giveaway + Adventure Rep Intros! I hope you guys have been enjoying the giveaways & getting to know all of the Adventure Reps & their journey. We’re now at our final Adventure Rep Intro, introducing y’all to Annie, Murphy the German Shepherd, & August the Lab/Pit Mutt. This family is from Philadelphia, PA. Annie is an RN currently working in the med/surg floor. She is passionate about her job out there on the front line because she’s there to make a difference in the world at people’s toughest moments. When Annie isn’t working, she’s hanging out with her litto family, which includes the pups & dog dad — now fiancé!

August is a rescue pup who came from a dog hoarding situation in Louisiana. They’re not sure of her exact past, but August struggles with resource guarding, reactivity, & fear of people. Annie navigates through life with August making sure that she feels safe with her. It’s been a journey for them, but Annie has gained her trust & now they’re inseparable. Murphy on the other hand is a big ol’ goof. He still struggles with a genetic heart condition called subaortic stenosis, which they found out about when Murphy was just 8/9 weeks old. It’s been a journey for this family, but they do their absolute best for their dogs in order to keep them healthy & happy. Help us welcome our final Adventure Rep for the FW23 lineup!

Adventure Rep Intro:

The next Adventure Rep we’re introducing is Kat & Kimber from San Diego, CA! Kimber is a Lab/Pointer Mutt that’s actually a foster fail. She was originally rescued out of Tijuana, Mexico & Kat was fostering her until she miserably failed. I give Kat props because before Kimber, she had fostered 4 other dogs! It was definitely meant to be because Kat fell in love with Kimber’s chill & quirky personality. This duo is now inseparable & do everything together!

Kat was born & raised in Bangkok, Thailand, but also lived throughout China & Kuwait while growing up. Kat works as a Project Manager at a large biotech company & loves her job because of the impact her company has been making — especially with COVID. Kat uses her Biology degree to read into scientific articles about dog supplement ingredients & nutrition. Since Kat grew up by the ocean, she’s always been a water baby. No wonder she now lives in San Diego, by the ocean. Of course things are different now because she’s more active with Kimber by her side, but she used to scuba dive & it was a big passion of hers.

Now that Kimber is her main adventure partner, Kat loves to train Kimber & they’re active in dog sports like AKC Rally. Kimber just received her Rally Intermediate Title and they can’t wait to get started on the Advanced Title!!! Otherwise, you can catch Kat & Kimber at their San Diego pack walks with their awesome crew. Their crew has been an inspiration to . Believe it or not, I actually had a customer walk into the shop just yesterday to tell us they started their own pack walk locally inspired by the San Diego crew! The next Adventure Rep we’re introducing is Caitlin & Milo, the Blue Merle Shiba Inu Mix! This duo is all over the maps, from Washington DC, & currently all the way in Singapore. Caitlin is originally from Hong Kong, & moved to DC in late 2020 by themself. After being alone in a new city, they deliberated for months on if they wanted to get a dog for companionship. Well, after a series of miraculous events, Milo ended up with his dream partner, Caitlin. Little did he know that he’d be in for an adventure of his lifetime, & one day even assist Caitlin as their service dog!

The dog world wouldn’t exist in a vacuum, so it’s extremely important for Caitlin to use their platform to discuss & learn about topics they find important. Caitlin is passionate about diversity, inclusion, & representation — topics we are passionate about as well! They also use their page to share content & discuss the importance of accessibility & other issues that matter to them like trans/LGBTQ+ inclusion.

Even though Caitlin had a childhood dog named Biscuit while growing up, Milo was the first dog of their own. Caitlin never realized how much went into socializing a dog, training, & enrichment. This is when they stumbled upon dog instagram & learned so much through the online resources. Caitlin trains Milo with a force free/LIMA mentality & they enjoy the challenges + different mindset that force free training has brought. It’s really pushed them to become a better & more adaptable handler. Caitlin is the perfect example of training the dog in front of them. has brought them closer to people who they can learn from & have healthy discussions with.

For today’s giveaway we have a very special product for you guys. It’s a Limited Rope Slip Collar that Caitlin created with us, & has also been testing with Milo. It’s not available in the shop, but maybe one day we’ll include it for any that prefers not to use leash pressure with their dogs. Please help us welcome this awesome duo!

Adventure Rep Intro: .with.aspen

The next Adventure Rep I have the honor of introducing is Olivia & her pack: Aspen the GSD/Husky, Ember the Belgian Mal/Husky Mutt, & lastly River the Akita/Aussie Mutt. This family is from beautiful Kirkland, Washington. They love to camp within the PNW & beyond, hike though the forests, & occasionally hit the road in their van for an epic road trip adventure. Olivia is a powerhouse, taking care of 3 large dogs, working as a soccer coach for a middle school, & on top of all that, she also volunteers at a rescue.

Although Olivia is great with coaching kids, her heart is really wherever the dogs are at. Olivia’s life goal is to open up her own dog shelter one day. You see, all 3 of her dogs were foster fails. Olivia has much experience in both adopting a rescue dog & fostering (if she doesn’t end up keeping them all 🤣). Olivia’s first dog Aspen was an extreme challenge & she still says that he’s one of the toughest cases she’s ever dealt with. He’s extremely reactive & she’s even been attacked by him before. Luckily, Olivia worked through the issues with much patience & through the experience it’s truly changed her life. Aspen has taught her so much & really challenged her out of her comfort zone in terms of training. He’s now come a long way, & isn’t people aggressive nor reactive. Olivia advocates for Aspen everyday!

Aspen’s journey has inspired Olivia to also take on dog training, & since then she’s learned so much. She hopes to continue learning & gaining experience so that she can become a professional trainer within the next few years. We will definitely be rooting for you Olivia!!! This pack is not only gorgeous, but also full of character, including Olivia. LOL, have ya’ll seen her reels? ☠️☠️☠️ She’s born a star ya’ll 🤩 Help us welcome this family to the Rep Team!!!
