We had the pleasure of looking after Jekyll, Abby, Buddy, and also Ella, Wally, and Sassy this month — each one so special in their own way. I truly love getting to know their personalities, settling into their routines, and just being there for them while their families are away.

From playful pups to a sweet, playful kitty, it’s been such a nice balance of energy and calm. Every home and every animal is so different, and we really enjoy getting to settle into their routines and spend that time with them while their family is away.

This past weekend was spent caring for two very special cats!

Buddy, a very friendly orange guy who loved all the attention, and Abby, a quiet girl who preferred to keep to herself. Both were well cared for and kept comfortable while their people were away.

I always make sure to care for pets in a way that feels comfortable for them, whether that means lots of cuddles or simply calm, reassuring company.

The first couple of weeks of February have been filled with wagging tails, gentle purrs, and so much love. I’m so grateful to spend my days caring for such sweet dogs and cats — each one with their own little quirks, routines, and personalities that make them so special.

❄️ Winter Reminder for Pet Sitting Clients ❄️

With winter weather officially here, I just wanted to share a quick note for everyone who has me staying in their home for pet care this winter. I’m always happy to help with minor snow shoveling, such as front steps, small walkways, and entrances to ensure safe access for myself and your pets.

However, full driveways and long/larger walkways are outside of my services, purely for safety and time reasons.

If you don’t already have someone lined up for snow plowing and removal, I highly recommend Ashguard Enterprise Ltd. They do an excellent job and are a great local company to support!

I had the absolute pleasure of looking after Balsam and Blu again, and they completely made my week.

We enjoyed a beautiful walk together and spent lots of time out in the snow — I even got some cute and goofy action shots of them playing and enjoying every moment. These two are the sweetest companions, full of love, personality, and endless cuddles. They made sure I never felt alone for a second.

I’m always so grateful to be trusted with such wonderful pups. Can’t wait to see them again!!!
