On the evening of January 29th my good friends Christina and John Johnston lost their home with just about everything in it. Including three of their beloved dogs and a kitten.

If you can help no matter how small it will be immensely appreciated by me.
We at Baddeck Canine Boarding and Daycare are happy that no people were injured but immensely saddened by the loss of their dogs and kitten, whom we have got to know well over the years.

We have seven adorable small-breed pups looking for their forever homes! 🩷 Their breed is unknown, but mom is a sweet little mix weighing around 15 lbs, so these cuties are expected to stay on the smaller side.

They’ll be ready to go home November 1st and will all be placed under a puppy contract requiring spay/neuter when they’re old enough.

The pups are up to date with age appropriate vaccines. They have been treated for fleas and internal parasites. They are also microchipped.

Thanks to a wonderful lady in the Walmart Supercenter Mobile center. in North Sydney the phone line issue is resolved. She did advise that Rogers may put the block back on, Fingers Crossed.
Not sure why Rogers Chat tech support couldnt do this this morning.

Our phone number is currently out of service and Rogers is experiencing extremely high call volumes.
This is a direct result of Rogers switching off their 3G .

It breaks my heart to see some people who are good FOR dogs but not good WITH dogs.
A friend of mine lost control of her dog's behavior to the point where she felt she had no choice but to rehome him. I know she did that because she loves that boy soo much.
Today I helped her get him into the car something she said he will fight her on every step of the way.
It turned out not to be an issue for me at all.
He pulled back once and then he jumped in.
I will miss that beautiful boy's visits and I know my friend will miss him terribly too.
She treated this boy like a king, loved it to pieces and cared for it so much.
Good for dogs not good with dogs. It's a sad reality some of us face.
Go live your bestest life boy.
