Focaccia is here for a two-week board & train and already settling in so nicely 💛

During her stay we’ll be focusing on recall, responsiveness to cues, confidence building, and positive socialization experiences. She’s such a sweet girl with the gentlest soul — and she’s already stolen our hearts around here 🐾

We can’t wait to watch her grow over the next two weeks!

11 years with my girl. 🤍

I honestly don’t know where the time has gone, but I do know how lucky I am to have experienced so much of life with Dahlia by my side. Through every season, every high and every hard moment, she’s always been there — steady, loyal, and somehow always knowing exactly what I need.

Today was all about celebrating her favourite things: filling up the pool for a swim, special treats, a long evening walk to the turtle pond, spotting deer along the way, and of course her very own turtle toy to bring home. 🐢

Happy 11th birthday to my heart dog. I’m so grateful for every adventure, every quiet moment, and every year we’ve shared together. Here's hoping for many more 🤍

Meet Hank 🤎

Hank is a sweet 6-month-old who has just started with us in our Day Training Program — a blend of structured daycare and purposeful training throughout the day.

We’ll be focusing on building his leash skills, polishing up his greeting manners, and continuing to develop his social confidence and overall social skills. He’s already showing us just how thoughtful and eager he is to learn.

His family has done such a great job laying the foundation for him — and it really shows. Hank came in with a lovely temperament and a solid start, which makes this stage all about guiding, shaping, and building on those skills in real-life situations.

Our Day Training Program is perfect for busy owners who want consistent progress, without having to do it all on their own. We work with your dog during the day and then guide you on how to carry things over at home — so everyone stays on the same page.

We’re so excited to watch Hank grow 🐾

Some puppies leave paw prints that stay with you a little extra 💛

Yesterday, Hondo wrapped up his 12-week Puppy Imprinting Program and headed off on his big adventure home to Newfoundland—where he’s now settling in with his amazing family 🐾✈️

From day one, Hondo brought so much personality, curiosity, and heart into everything we did together. Watching him grow in confidence, build his skills, and learn how to navigate the world has been such a rewarding journey.

He’s heading home with a strong foundation, a thoughtful routine, and all the tools he needs to keep thriving—and I know his family is going to continue doing an incredible job with him.

While it’s never easy to say goodbye, this is always the goal: confident, well-prepared puppies going home to families who love them.

We’re so proud of you, Hondo 💙

Hondo putting in the work where it matters most 👏🐾

Busy environment, kids running around, games happening… and what is he doing?
Taking a well-earned nap 😌

This is what we love to see — a dog who can settle and feel safe, even when life is happening all around him.

Dal has been helping Hondo learn that he doesn’t always need to be “on.”
It’s okay to switch off, relax, and just exist calmly in the environment.

This is real-life training — building confidence, calmness, and the ability to decompress anywhere.

There’s just something about a puppy running full speed toward you with a big smile on their face when you call them 🐾✨

Hondo has been working hard on his recall during his puppy imprinting program, and this slow motion clip from one of our long line sessions might be one of my favourites yet 🥹

Recall isn’t just about a dog coming when called — it’s about a dog WANTING to come when called. It’s about building that connection and value so that even with distractions around them, they still make the choice to come back to you 🌿🐶

And I’d say Hondo is doing pretty amazing 💙

🐾 National Pet Day was yesterday… but let’s be honest — they deserve more than just one day 🐾

Because life with them? It’s everything.

The muddy paws.
The early wake-ups.
The dramatic sighs when you stop petting them.

And somehow… we wouldn’t trade any of it.

Our dogs aren’t just pets —
they’re part of our routines, our families, and our everyday lives.

So even if we’re a day late… the reminder still stands:

The best way to show love isn’t just extra treats (though they won’t complain 😏)

It’s:
✔️ Clear communication
✔️ Consistent structure
✔️ Meeting their needs — mentally and physically

Because a well-understood dog is a happy dog.

Yesterday, today, and every day — they deserve that.
