We are back this week with another Nutrition Talk 🐾

So far we have discussed puppy/kitten food, adult food and last but not least is feeding our senior pets!

As our pets age, so do their dietary needs. Providing the right nutrition is key to keeping your senior pet happy and healthy!

Here are some tips to keep in mind:

😸🐶Choose a senior specific diet-Older pets need food that is tailored to their age. We need to be providing the right balance of protein, fibre and essential nutrients!
💧 Keeping them hydrated-always make sure there is plenty of fresh water available to them!
⚖Keep an eye on their weight-monitor for weight gains or losses.
🦴Support their joint health.
🩺Regular check ups with your Veterinarian-Your Vet can recommend the best diet for your pet depending on their lifestyle and medical conditions.
