AQHA 2025 High Point Champion list has just been published and what an honour it has been. Many long hours were logged at home and at shows, as well as too many miles to count across 3 provinces with 3 mares, but it was all worthwhile. The best part is always making new friends along the way.
PREMOS SPECIAL GRACE was fit and shown in the Open Aged mares by Scott MacKenzie Show Horses this year, hitting shows in all 3 provinces. Maizie earned both her Open and Amateur ROM's as well as numerous AQHA Year End High Points as listed in the photo below.
SENSATIONAL FINANCIN stayed home and was fit here with the goal of finishing off her Open Superior and teaching the yearling the ropes of being a show horse/travel partner. M finished her Superior in September and won numerous AQHA Year End High Points as listed in the photo below.
SIRTAINLY CREDIBLE made her debut in the show pen and handled everything that was thrown at her. Brinleigh was a special filly to show as she was the only foal by SIRTAINLY SIERRA that I was able to show prior to his passing. She has also won numerous AQHA Year End High Points as listed in the photo below.
Thank you once again to Scott MacKenzie Show Horses, everyone that helped out holding horses in the hitching pen, those that led back in for Grand and Reserve and the Judges. Showing 3 mares (2 in the same class) was a challenge, but we made it work. (should have bought a fit bit to log my miles...lol)
