STANDARD POODLE MIX NEEDS A FOSTER!

Please care and share for Willie. We thought we had a foster line up but things have unfortunately fallen through. He's currently up in the North Bay area but we have drivers on stand-by to get him to a foster home. He's been living outside and needs to find a warm and loving home - ideally a Foster-to-Adopt home. Our friends at SPIN are at capacity and know that we are on the job!

Obtained From: A standard poodle breeder
Reason for Intake: No proper home or time
Up to Date with Vetting: Yes, will be neutered by our rescue
Good with dogs: He has many interactions with other dogs and has never had an issue. He is currently being kept outside in a run by himself
Good with cats: Unknown.
Good with kids: He has not lived in a house with kids. He does play ball with their kids who are 7 and 10 years old and seems very excited to see them and may jump up to greet them.
Good with strangers: He is currently an outside dog but when strangers have entered the outside pen he doesn't bark, goes up and greets them, and is friendly and social.
Resource guarding issues: No
Ever bitten a human: No
Ever bitten a dog: No
Fears:
Housetrained: He is not living in a house. He is clean in his crate for up to 8 hours when crated overnight.
Crate trained: Yes. He is crated overnight in the outbuilding/ shop

Georgia is located in KW and has been doing great in her foster home!

This special girl has been looking for her forever family for over a year so we need some help sharing her and finding her an adopter!

Georgia is 5-6 years old. She is a large, mixed, breed. All vetting has been done - she is spayed, chipped, vaccinated. Georgia has no health concerns. Georgia is a love bug and has won over the hearts of all people she meets.

Georgia is used to having someone home 24-7. She has separation anxiety so we are looking for a home that has someone around to keep her company. She is leash reactive towards other dogs (although she has made big progress on this front and can ignore them now with a savvy handler) and needs to live as the only dog in the home. She does currently live with a cat but her foster mom feels she would do best in a pet-free, adult-only home.

If you work from home, have a fenced yard, are an experienced owner, and kid/pet-free… we want to chat with you!

Here is Molly's Story:

THIS DOG LOVES THE BOTANICAL GARDENS..at least, she thinks she does! Molly the 6-year-old Pug is the "Garden Dog" around TAS, and would LOVE to take a trip to see the summer flowers - like the beautiful flora you'd see at Edwards Gardens. She dreams of taking in that floral aroma and posing among the trees, but at the shelter her only options are grass and the occasional dandelion! As pretty as she looks in these photos, a photoshopped image isn't a replacement for the real thing.
That's where you come in! While most botanical gardens might be off-limits to dogs, Molly would love if you'd adopt her for all kinds of flowery adventures! She'd be MORE than happy if you took her on a nature walk, or tossed her a toy in your back garden! Of course there's more to Molly than just flowers; she loves her exercise and any treat she can get those teeth on. Molly's also a very calm and mild-mannered girl, who's ready to blossom in her new home!
To help dogs like Molly experience some summer fun first-hand, we're reducing our dog adoption fee to just $50! It's all part of "DogsTO", an adoption campaign to move dogs from our shelters and into loving families. But act fast - this campaign ends on July 19!

Our dog Morley went missing this morning at approximately 10am from Tasso Lake. She is a blonde terrier, 3/4 cairn and 1/4 poodle. She has one ear up and one ear down. She has on a Hudson’s bay company collar and a citronella spray collar with an airtag on it. She is microchipped as well. She is friendly.
