We have 7 chicks left from this weeks hatch!
Bantam Cochin/bantam Wyandotte, over half look to be purebred bantam Cochin. Pickup is in Hylo, we can meet in Lac la biche regularly, Athabasca on Ocassion. Will be in Fort Sask/Edmonton area June 20th. Have more hatching this week. Chicks are straight run, meaning not sexable. This is a great time of year for chicks, they can go outside much sooner than in early spring. Pictures of parent flock in add after pictures of chicks. We have hatching eggs as well. Serious inquiries only, message us for more info.

We have a pair of geese seeking a new flock consisting of one emden and one emden cross as I hatched too many and have extras. 2026 hatch. They are very friendly, have had lots of handling and human interaction and have been raised alongside chickens, ducks, peacocks and turkeys and get along great with the whole flock. I believe they are a pair and have attempted vent sexing but make no 110% guarantees on my abilities with that. Pickup is in Hylo, I can meet in Lac la biche regularly, Athabasca on occasion. Our second run is completed which made for happy turkeys! More of my hutches, coops and my brooder cabinet were able to make the trip up to our new location at Hylo last weekend. I cannot wait to finish getting everything set up tonight so I can kick the chicks out of the garage. We still have a few more buildings to haul but everything is starting to come together and by next season we should fully be back in the swing of things đź©·

We have a beautiful Royal Palm Tom up for consideration. He is 2025 hatch from shipped eggs from the mutt houses exhibition line in Sask. He is great with people, our other Tom and the hens. If I had enough girls for him we would keep him. Pickup is in Hylo, we can meet in Lac la biche regularly, Athabasca on occasion as well as Edmonton/Fort Sask area on occasion. Bantam cochin/wyandotte hatching eggs!
Pickup is in Hylo, can meet in lac la biche regularly, Athabasca on ocassion. Very high chance of hatching purebred chicks. Pen consists of 20 bantam Cochins and 3 bantam Wyandotte. These are sturdier breeds of bantam that handle winter well and do fine in a flock of standard birds. Fertility is 100% here on farm, I make no guarantees on eggs once they leave my hands. Lots available, we are getting a dozen or so a day. Deal on more than one dozen. Message us for more information, serious inquiries only please 🙂

I truly do not comprehend the amount of breed misrepresentation I have seen in local groups lately. This year just seems to just be way worse than usual.
I have seen many people that are so desperate to pass off backyard mutts that are so far removed from the breed they claim them to be to someone who doesn’t know better just to make a quick buck. I also don’t think this just comes from a place of ignorance either as a quick google search typically will show that the rabbit or bird they have shows not one trait in common with the breed they are claiming it to be. I have seen many “Bantam Cochins” listed with five toes and black skin, as well as many “Flemish giants” with rex fur, lop ears or that are colours that do not exist in the breed such as black otter.
If you are breeding mixes please just list them as what they are. If you have 30 rabbits running around and don’t know which one came from what be honest about that. Don’t just pick a breed you think is popular and run with it. Someone will know and you will be called out at some point.
We will be refusing sales to anyone we see carrying out this behaviour as we work hard on our stock, a lot of time, money and love is invested into everything we have and these are not the type of people we want to share that with or have dealings with.
At the end of the day honesty is always the best policy.
