Not “Do I want one?”
Not “Can I find one?”
Not “How cool do they look?”

Ask yourself: WHY do I want a Malinois?

👉 Is it because you saw one in a movie?
👉 Because they’re popular on social media?
👉 Because you want to say you own a “badass” dog?
👉 Because you think it will protect your family?

Now ask yourself the harder questions:

❓ Do I understand what true drive feels like?
❓ Am I prepared to build my life around a dog’s mental and physical needs?
❓ Do I have the skill and commitment to channel intensity — every single day?
❓ Do I understand what happens when those needs aren’t met?

A Malinois is not a status symbol. It’s not a trend dog. It’s not a shortcut to an image.

It is a full-time working partner that will expose every gap in your handling, leadership, and understanding. It will demand everything you have — and more.

So before you say “I want a Malinois” — ask yourself WHY.
And if your “why” isn’t rooted in purpose, preparation, and respect for the breed — walk away.

Cicada’s (Dia von Raliam X Chalands Lawless Romance IGP3) embark DNA results came back and she is DNA cleared for all breed relevant diseases and disorders. We will be continuing health testing this year for a potential fall litter after her 2025 trial season is complete.
