Sarabi, 7 year old spayed female

I was nervous when my family didn't come looking for me. I know that senior dogs tend to stay in shelters the longest, despite how much love we have to give and the fact that we have all our basic training down pat, people just seem to prefer the noisy, sharp toothed puppies.

But my friends at the shelter told me not to worry. They said that their friends on Facebook are experts at sharing their posts until the perfect person is found-- so here I am. Hoping you can help me find my perfect match!

Since I know these are the questions you all have running through your head, I thought maybe I should answer them in hopes it helps me find my home fast!
Am I good with other pets? Well... I could be. Do I want to be friends with other dogs? Not really. But with a patient family and the right dog, we might be able to make it work. Ideally, I'd prefer a home without a dog to start while I get comfy and get to know my new family. Am I good with kids? I haven't met any at the shelter, soooo that's a mystery at this point!

I'm a quiet girl and I don't need much, I promise. I'm content to nap in a comfy place when I'm alone but I'll be happy if you want to go for a walk, too. Sometimes, when I'm really happy to see my friends, I like to show them my favorite stuffies.

I promise to be a good girl and to love you unconditionally, it's the only way I know how even though I haven't gotten that same love back in my life. Can you please help me find my person?

A message from my friends at the shelter: Dog adoptions are typically $365 but in order to encourage people to adopt our shelter dogs, the adoption fee is $182.50 this month; all dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and treated for parasites. The dog adoption also comes with one month of the Royal Canin diet, two years fee waived City of London license and a free week of dog training through Good Pup! Please call 519-685-1330 for more information.
