We’re excited to officially introduce the team behind our new indoor training space, julia and Grace. 🐾
We met about a year ago through our shared passion for dogs and quickly realized we had the same goals: helping dogs and their owners build better relationships through clear, fair, and practical training. This space is the result of that shared vision.
Julia is the owner of Sage K9 Ottawa. She has been passionate about animals her whole life. from riding horses competitively and working at stables and dairy farms, to attending farrier college. Her journey into dog training began with her own German Shepherd x Malinois, Massey, who struggled with leash reactivity and severe separation anxiety. Through that experience, and working with trainers along the way, Julia developed a strong understanding of more challenging dogs. She is currently training Massey in various dog sports, with goals of achieving titles next year.
Grace is the owner and head groomer at Central Canine, specializing in both grooming and training. When she’s not in the salon, she’s actively training and competing in PSA. Grace has spent years working hands-on with dogs of all temperaments and brings a practical, real-world approach focused on engagement, clarity, and confidence.
Together, we’re creating a welcoming indoor training space focused on:
