The schedule for 2026. We have already pre-approved this with many of the coaches that attend our shows.

01/02/2025

Trendsetting Stables is accepting boarders! We have space in all of our groups. We offer freechoice and handfed group board. No mixed herds. We are a friendly facility located in Ardrossan, Alberta. All disciplines welcome, though our program is primarily hunter/jumper. We have 3 arena options available (outdoor sand, indoor sand, outdoor grass) so there is lots of room to ride. We are also a short trailer ride away from the gorgeous Blackfoot trails.

We have certified/insured coaches on site and travel to select competitions each year.

Board cost: $335/horse/month +hay surcharge +gst

Trendsetting Stables is available for the evacuated critters from the jasper wild fire. We can take quite a few horses and small livestock to those in need. Please reach out to Lara at 780 433-1464 if you need a place to go.

We wrapped up our summer camp today! It was a very hot week and we had a group of troopers. We covered a lot of material required for EC rider levels and a variety of riding lessons ranging from barrels to pole bending to jumping. The girls painted horses and jumps, designed their own obstacle course and those jumping, designed their own jump course for our week end ‘show’ for the parents. We even took advantage of the heat and had a slip and slide and water fight. It was a busy week and we want to thank Pam, Kahlan, and Holly for helping us out! And of course a big shout out to the horses 🐎

Trendsetting Stables is excited to announce our camp date for summer 2024! Our camps are always a hit with young horse lovers. Our camp runs Mon-Fri 9:00am to 3:00pm and offers a wealth of knowledge to aspiring riders. Each day has a lesson on horse back and unmounted horsemanship lessons, as well as fun crafts for the kids. No horseback riding experience is needed, so if your child is eager to learn about horses this is the perfect opportunity. Our coaches are both licensed and certified with plenty of experience in the industry and our school horses are safe and well versed with new riders. We plan for a little ‘show’ for the parents to come and see what the kids have learned at the end of the week!

Camp dates are July 15-19, drop off is 9:00am and pick up is 3:00pm. The last day of camp the kids will show off their skills for the parents at 1:00pm!

Each rider will need an approved ASTM riding helmet and appropriate footwear for horseback riding. AEF summer camp membership is also required. Camp fee is $500 + GST/child, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking and the remainder will be due 30 days prior to the first day of camp.
We will book a second camp in August if the first camp date fills!
