Let's do another price comparison.
Today, while running errands for the store, I thought I'd check the prices at a big-name grocery store and see how our prices compare. There were differences, we were less in several items, but a bit more in a few. I only looked at the prices of the items that we both carry.
Sample Shopping List with Them:
Avocado - $2.50
Broccoli - $5.50
Red Pepper - $6.99
Green Pepper - $5.99
English Cucumber - $3.00
Kiwi - $1.59
Sweet Potato (1lb) - $3.00
Celery - $5.50
Onions - $2.50
Total - $36.57
Same shopping list with us:
Avocado - $1.85
Broccoli - $4.50
Red Pepper - $3.75
Green Pepper - $4.55
English Cucumber - $2.00
Kiwi - $1.40
Sweet Potato (1lb) - $2.00
Celery - $4.25
Onions - $1.50
Total - $25.80
Total Savings shopping with us - $10.77 (in your wallet)
It may not seem like much, but if you shop weekly for your groceries and save $10.77/week, multiply that by 52 and you'll have saved $560.04 in the run of a year.
Don't forget, our vegetables are sourced weekly, oftentimes bi-weekly, from local farms and markets, and starting soon, from our own greenhouse.
With us, unlike with them, you don't have to buy a 2lb, 5lb or 10lb bags of onion, potatoes or carrots, you can buy one or 101, only what you need. We also offer 1lb and 1/2 bundles of asparagus while they're in season.
