It’s not tour season yet, but for these three, our doors are always open. Tsige, Ayu, and Louise are great friends who live far apart, but they have an annual ladies’ weekend in Windsor-Essex and have made our sanctuary a part of their yearly plans. We just love their energy and appreciate their support so much. We consider them our friends now, too. 💞

And bonus: Sara did her very first solo tour!

A HUGE thank you to .nick for organizing the cram-a-cruiser at .castlebuilding today. Despite the thunder and rain, the community came out and donated generously. We received some much-needed feed, supplies, and close to $500!

We’re so grateful to .nick , .castlebuilding and to all of the people who donated - as always, it takes a village. ❤️

On the one day ever that Steve & I haven’t been here on chore day, someone decided to take the gate off and go on a mini adventure in the back pasture. I won’t mention names (rhymes with ‘sin’), but a certain piggy was quite pleased with himself.

Shout out to .vm and .beemer for discovering the jailbreak and holding down the fort until we returned. Don’t worry - the back gates were closed as per usual.

PS - Mr. Escape Artist was remembering a very special photo/video shoot he participated in recently in that area and figured he’d return to the scene…more details on this to come!
