A very big thank you to everyone who has come in and paid their bill. If you have not paid your bill, we really need you to do so as soon as possible. The clinic is open irregular hours so please call in advance or drop a cheque in the mail. Thank you again to everyone who has paid up. Dr. Mentz's widow is very appreciative of all the honest people in our community.

Reminder: If you still owe money to Dr. Mentz please pay by cash or cheque. Dr. Mentz poured all his savings into starting the clinic and it was just beginning to be profitable. His widow has been left with a lot of bills to pay. Because of corruption issues in South Africa, he lost the life insurance policy he paid into for many years. Anything left from the business after bills and funeral expenses is all that she has to get to home to South Africa with. If you don't pay your bill, you're causing hardship to his widow.

Funeral Arrangements for Dr. Mentz are being handled by Sneath and Strilchuk Funeral Services. No date has been set yet but please check their webpage for details. Sneath and Strilchuk will know before the office staff does. Thank you.

We have had many requests for more information. Plans are in flux but at this time the tentative plan is that there will be a memorial and farewell service here at the Alonsa Hall before Dr. Mentz is returned to his homeland in South Africa. Please watch for further details as they become available

The clinic is closed however retail items are still for sale. Prescription orders previously ordered and approved by Dr. Mentz can still be picked up. Your understanding and patience with our staff is much appreciated during this difficult time.
