Meet our Ranch Clinician
Andrea Knox owns and operates Thistle Valley Farm, a lesson/training facility just outside of Peterborough. Her love of horses started at a young age with jumping, and eventing coming up through the Canadian Pony Club. Then as a teen found the western discipline, showing Quarter Horses for years before starting to breed, train and show Paint horses throughout Ontario and the US. Her passion for Trail classes made her expand into Mountain Trail, obstacles challenges and Extreme cowboy, and cattle sorting . In 2024 was Ontario Xtreme Cowboy Green Horse Provincial and Year End Champion, as well as the 2024 Jana Memorial Ranch Horse Challenge Champion, as well as multiple year awards.
Andrea has a gift, in the way she can share and explain, making it easy to understand and communicate to your horse.

What to expect in this clinic:

We will spend the morning session learning about Ranch Riding followed by a mid day demo about Ranch Rail. The afternoon session will cover introduction to Ranch Trail, followed by a fireside chat with the clinician.

This is the best...

Join us for an Intro to Team Sorting with Stuart Harrower of Little Rahane Farms! This is our forth year with this talented clinician. Come out and learn how to push cows! You and your horse will spend the morning getting introduced to cows and the lay out and rules of the sport. Once every horse and rider team is comfortable with the cows and ready, Stuart will coach you through how to push cows through the gate and work with your teammate to get them all sorted by number. One of our funnest clinics of the year!
