r Apiary continues to grow, allowing up to provide local honey to our surrounding markets. We raise naturally grown pigs year round for our local community consumers. We continue the tradition of raiseing our flock of Orlopp Bronze Turkeys- premium, broad-breasted turkey, the Orlopp Bronze is the product of choice for the most discerning tastes and the grandest occasions. Excellent conformation, high meat quality, natural fat layering and beautiful bronze feathering make these birds a fine choice for Thanksgiving our Christmas Dinners!!! We have a rapidly growing Apiary. Our honey bees have the selection of beautiful untouched mountain flowers and amazing local flower and vegetable gardens to produce honey that is in high demand. 🐴 So You Want to Learn About Branding…
We’re thrilled to announce that Jeff Taylor will be instructing a hands-on clinic designed to help you and your horse build confidence, control, and connection in preparation for branding season!

(Keep your eyes peeled for a Spring Session and an upcoming Three-Day Branding Clinic near Williams Lake, BC!)

Goals of the Clinic:
• Prepare horse and rider to approach, rope, and handle cattle safely and confidently
• Assess your horsemanship level and understand what stage your horse is at for confident roping

What to Expect:

Body Control
• Learn key techniques for safety and confidence
• Expose your horse to ropes in a calm, non-threatening way — building confidence where it counts
• Develop your own comfort and confidence as a roper

Roping Skills Practice
• Learn correct dallying techniques
• Practice sliding rope smoothly through your hand (no burns!)
• Track and rope the dummy with accuracy and flow
• Refine rope handling and horn work for efficient sliding

📍 Location: Covered Arena in Barnhartvale, BC

📅 Date: Sunday, November 2, 2025 — 9 AM to 4 PM

💲 Cost:
• $300/day — BCBHA Members (www.bcbridlehorse.ca

I Hope you've all had a fabulous summer! I'm not super excited about the colder weather but thinking of making a trip down to the coast before winter really sets in. Just checking in with you all to see how many if any of you would be interested in a private or semi-private lesson somewhere at the coast if I were to make a trip to the area on the weekend of Oct 17-19? The fabulous Lisa Coulthard is helping to organize a learning day (or two or three), thank you Lisa! 🙏 If you are interested in getting in on the learning, can you please comment below and we can include you in the loop of information?

So You Want to Learn About Branding…

We are thrilled to announce Jeff Taylor will be instructing a hands-on clinic designed to help you and your horse build confidence and control in preparation for branding season!
