Foster needed❤️❤️
Back in the summer, I went to the shelter to pull a different dog. I didn’t expect to meet Rufus, but I did, and he hasn’t left my heart since.
To find out he is still sitting at the shelter, made me realize I have to try to do something to help❤️

Rufus the Goofus is still at one of our local shelters, who reached out for help because he’s been waiting far too long. He came in mid-August after being dumped, and while we don’t know all of his past, everything about him says he was once loved. That day, I spent time with him this big boy with his derpy little eyes and gentle, goofy nature, and something about him just got me. He wasn’t demanding or loud. He was soft, calm, and quietly affectionate in a way you can’t forget.

Rufus is not a yard dog. He hates being outside and only wants to be warm, dry, and snuggled up with his people. He leans into affection and makes it clear he just wants to belong.

For such a big boy, Rufus is gentle but when the zoomies hit, watch out. He’s a powerhouse, and we all have to grab the nearest tree just to stay in one piece. Then, just as fast, he’ll flop into your lap for cuddles like nothing happened. Toys are fun, but cuddles are his favorite thing Rufus is a certified snuggle bug.

Rufus has some seasonal allergies, but he’s doing well on a salmon-based diet and may need a little medication now and then. It’s nothing extreme just a bit of extra care for a dog who gives so much love in return.

We are looking for a foster home where Rufus can finally rest, decompress, and show his true self outside of the shelter. This is a big, goofy, snuggly dog who just needs a soft place to landand maybe a strong human nearby for when the zoomies inevitably strike😹

Good afternoon to all our wonderful clients 🩵
As the colder weather approaches little pest are looking for a warm place to settle in for the winter.
Did you know fleas can leap 160 times their own body length through open doors or windows. They can even jump through window screens or cracks in doors.
It’s that time of year again where we are hearing but my pet is an indoor pet how could they even get fleas.
Hey it happens! Make sure to regularly vacuum your carpets, cat trees and wash pet bedding and most importantly
Stay up to date with your flea control (even for the indoor pets)

Good morning to all of our lovely clients ❤️
Unfortunately for the unforeseeable future part of our driveway has been demolished. We understand how much of an inconvenience this can be and ask that everyone is patient with this process.
Normally we try to be as accommodating as possible with drop off but would appreciate everyone sticking to their specific time to reduce high volumes of vehicles as we do our best to stagger appointments.
This will likely be a learning curve.
If you are like me and parking stresses you out there is plenty of street parking up on Beck Road right beside us.

We will be closed March 17th - April 1st. We are grateful to have some scheduled time off so we can come back and serve all of our wonderful clients feeling fresh and motivated!
Please be patient with us as we try to schedule everyone the best we can, priority bookings are given to our regular/prebooking clients. Currently we are booking about 4 weeks in advance.
If you are having a grooming emergency (ie: severely matted animal) due to our waitlist it may be best to find an alternative solution.
We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Good morning to all our lovely clients!

If you are not on a prebooking schedule and wanting to make an appointment before Christmas we recommend booking ahead of time as these appointments fill up quickly!

Please call 604-859-3647 and leave a message.
If you include your preferred dates/times we can schedule the appointment and you will receive a text confirmation to avoid potential “phone tag”

We will be closed for the Christmas holidays Friday December 22nd and reopening on Tuesday January 2nd.

Good morning everyone,

Unfortunately the computer software we have has made some changes and it’s caused our text message system to not work. We are hoping for them to fix these issues in a timely manner but encourage those that are unsure of their upcoming appointments to please contact us via 604-859-3647

Once these issues are corrected the text message number will most likely be different from the previous one.

Also please note that Chrissy will be away till September 13th and will not be responding to Facebook/Instagram messages during this time.

Good afternoon,

A couple of notes:

We will be closed Friday and Saturday this week for the long weekend.

We now require 24hrs notice for any cancellations. We continue to have a large amount of people not showing up for their appointments with zero notice.
No notice will now result in a no show fee that will be added to your next service bill.
Three no shows will result in termination of all future services.

We hope everyone has been enjoying the text messages for appointments, if you have not received text messages for your appointments please ensure we have updated contact information!
