Here’s a short update with our blind and seisureful kitten, Ray Charles! He’s doing well and so long as we keep him on his medication he isn’t having his seizures 🙌🏼 anyone who knows him knows it’s RARE to see him so calm and at peace but we’ve been working hard with him to realize that the world doesn’t need to be so overwhelming

Have you ever wondered why we don't have "rescue" in our name?

You wouldn't be the first person to ask if you did! 🐾

While rescuing cats and kittens is certainly a big part of what we do, it's only one piece of the puzzle.

Abby Cat Daddy the Feline Advocate Society was founded with a bigger goal in mind: creating a better future for local community cats and the people who care about them.

From Trap Neuter Return (TNR) and lower cost spay and neuter programs, to our Feline Food Bank, microchip clinics, Last Litter Program, stray cat assistance, missing cat resources, and adoption services, our work extends far beyond traditional rescue.

We believe that helping cats means more than finding them homes. It means preventing homelessness, reducing overpopulation, supporting families, and advocating for long term solutions that improve the lives of cats throughout our community.

We recently wrote a blog post explaining why we chose "Feline Advocate Society" and how our programs work together to help local cats both today and for generations to come.

We all love Ophelia. ❤️

At an estimated 16 to 18 years young, you might expect her to spend her days napping in a sunbeam... and while she certainly enjoys that, as you can see, this sweet senior still has plenty of spark left in her.

Bring out a wand toy and Ophelia is ready to play. She still gets excited, still has her moments of kitten-like joy, and still has so much love to give.

Ophelia is currently looking for a final respite foster home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by comfort, kindness, and people who adore her as much as we do. Abby Cat Daddy covers her approved veterinary care. All she needs is a safe place to call home and someone willing to share a little love.

Senior cats are often overlooked, but they have so much to offer. Ophelia reminds us every day that age is just a number.

A huge thank mew to our incredible community for stepping up and helping refill our Feline Food Bank shelves.

Over the past few weeks, we put out a call for help as our supplies were running dangerously low. Thanks to your generosity, we can once again support local families facing financial hardship and ensure community cats throughout the Fraser Valley continue to have food in their bowls.

Every bag, can, and donation makes a difference. When families are struggling, companion animals often become an added source of worry. Thanks to you, we're able to ease that burden while also supporting the dedicated caretakers who feed and monitor community cat colonies throughout our region.

While our shelves are looking much better, the need never truly stops.

You can continue supporting our Feline Food Bank by donating food through our ongoing food drive at PetSmart Sumas. Simply let the cashier know that the food you're purchasing is being donated to Abby Cat Daddy and they will set it aside for us to collect.

🎉 Logan's Birthday Fundraiser is entering its final days! 🎉

Thanks to an incredible matching gift from Petsecure Pet Health Insurance , every donation made to this campaign is being doubled, up to $10,000.

That means a $25 donation becomes $50.
A $100 donation becomes $200.
And every dollar goes twice as far for local cats and kittens in need.

What started as a birthday fundraiser has become a community effort to help us get through one of the busiest kitten seasons we've ever faced.
