So where have I been…
Listen to the irony of this.
I built a room to store stuff that the cats couldn’t p*e on or mess up…
And instead, the rats did.
Yep. I ended up with a full-blown rat infestation.
What did it cost me? Not 1, not 2, but 3 washing machine pipes.
Machine fixed ☑️
Storeroom secured so rats can’t get in and cats can’t get out (we shall now have random cat patrols throughout the storeroom making sure the rats don’t even think about moving back in) ☑️
But that’s not all the drama…
My dryer — well, the circuit board on that is FRIED.
Dryer part ordered ☑️
Then let’s throw in two broken fans…
Perfect timing as the weather is getting hotter
Huge thank you to Peter for replacing one of the fans to keep our kitties cool
And the final sprinkle on top…
A broken “one pot.”
My guardian angel when it comes to cooking all the cat food.
But somehow, through all of the universe’s tests, I’ve managed to keep my strength and patience…
(although I am saying that very quietly so she doesn’t hear me and throw a few more hiccups my way)
Now for the positive news…
Let’s talk clinics — because we haven’t all year.
We have been BUSY.
Drum roll please…
So far this year we have fixed:
278 cats
155 females
123 males
Putting our total count to…
1900
Thank you to each and every single person who has assisted with these clinics,
and a big thank you to the people who make them possible.
We truly couldn’t do this without you ❤️
