You asked and we listened 👂 💬 Starting today, Pharma Vets will now open from 8am!

Whether it’s an early check up, picking up supplies or just peace of mind for your furry friends, we’re here bright and early to serve you ☀️

There are a high inflow and alerts of Parvo Virus cases in the community

🐾Why Parvovirus spreads fast in rainy season:
- Moist environments protect the virus, allowing it to longer in the ground and surfaces
- Dogs sniffing or licking contaminated areas are easily exposed
- Stray or unvaccinated dogs amplify the cycle of transmission

💉 Vaccination is the strongest shield
- Puppies should start their vaccine series at 4-6 weeks, with boosters every 3 weeks until 16weeks
- Adult dogs need regular boosters to stay protected
- Vaccination not only protects individual did but also builds herd immunity, reducing outbreaks in the whole community

⛔ Breaking the cycle in your area:
- encourage neighbors to vaccinate their dogs
- Limit contact between puppies and unknown dogs until vaccination is complete
- Practice good hygiene: disinfect kennels, bowls and shoes
