This is the Pink-necked Green Pigeon – the Fruit Dove in Sunset Tones

Perched quietly among tropical trees, the Pink-necked Green Pigeon is a burst of soft color in the canopy. The male wears a dreamy blend of mossy green, peachy pink, lavender, and orange — like a sunset melting into feathers. The female, though less flashy, is equally lovely in vivid green, blending perfectly with the leaves.

Found across Southeast Asia, from city parks to rainforests, these pigeons feed mainly on fruit — especially figs — and play a key role in seed dispersal. They’re often spotted in small flocks, flying fast and direct between feeding spots.
