Ketsie joined us for her 14th birthday last week. She loves coming for her visits and especially loves treats, attention as well as the hydrotherapy tank.

Dr Laura’s freezer contains more stuff for the dogs than food for humans… why? Because her dogs get enrichment toys as part of their meals. Keeping mind and body active. (For anyone concerned who knows Dr Laura’s dogs… the little toys are for her house guest not for the big dogs)

Turqui is Dr Laura oldest dog, he is a trained therapy dog who’s primary job (other than normal happy house dog duties of cuddles and occasional bark) was doing school visits and working with kids who had mental or physical disabilities, he did this work with Dr Laura for many years, this took a lot of time and commitment with years of training and continued work. He’s an older man now and has retired from the majority of this work. However he and Dr Laura were asked to visit Warwick academy reception classes today. He was very excited to visit, he hasn’t been to a school in a while and was very enthusiastic about it. As always he lay still while about 40kids listened to his heart with a stethoscope. Turqui will be 12 in April he benefits from laser and acupuncture to keep him happy and active.
