We received some beautiful photos today that truly made our hearts full 💛

Phoebe and Chandler — two of the very first puppies we ever rescued, part of a litter of six, three years ago. Back then they were tiny, vulnerable, and uncertain of the world… and now look at them — happy, safe, and loved in their forever home in Germany 🇩🇪

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. From a difficult start to a life full of care and warmth — this is what every animal deserves.

Hedwig & Fleur 💛

They didn’t have the best start in life…
Mum Fleur was dumped in a school garden with her four tiny puppies. Some local men told us about her, and when we arrived, she was trying her best to keep them safe.

Sadly, we don’t know what happened to three of the puppies…
But one little soul stayed — Hedwig.

Despite everything, Fleur never lost her gentle nature. She trusted again. And Hedwig, her brave little girl, grew up surrounded by care instead of fear.

Their story started with abandonment… but it didn’t end there. 🐾
Now they have a chance for something better — safety, love, and a future they truly deserve.

Little update on Voldi 🐾

Yesterday we went for a check-up and the vet removed his plaster. Good news — the bone is healing and starting to fuse together 🙏

We’ll go back for another check-up in two weeks, but for now the mission is clear: keep Voldi calm and less active (not his favorite thing 😄).

One year ago, our journey with Paulina began…
We found her on the edge of a road, in the middle of nowhere — hungry, thirsty, and terrified. She wasn’t alone… she had her 7 tiny puppies depending on her.
We couldn’t just walk away.
From that moment, everything changed. With care, patience, and love, Paulina slowly learned to trust again. Her puppies grew strong, safe, and full of life.
And today, one year later… Paulina has her forever home. 🏡💕
She’s no longer scared or alone — she’s loved, happy, and finally living the life she always deserved.
This is why we do what we do. ❤️

Our little boy Voldi had a scary accident while playing — he slipped and unfortunately broke his back leg. 💔
We rushed him straight to our local vet, where an X-ray showed that the fracture was more complicated than expected. They advised us to take him to a larger clinic in Varna to see an orthopedic specialist.
Today, Voldi was treated in Varna. His leg has been carefully set, placed in plaster, and secured with special supports to keep everything in the correct position. 🐾
Now comes the hard part for our playful boy — strict rest. Voldi must stay confined in a cage and is not allowed to run, jump, or play so his leg can heal properly. It’s not easy for him, but it’s the best chance for a full recovery.
If anyone would like to support Voldi’s treatment or make a donation to our refuge, we would be deeply grateful. As always, every contribution goes directly to helping the animals in our care. ❤️

✨ Little update on Tala ✨

We’re so happy to share that Tala has safely arrived in Germany to her forever home! 🇩🇪🐾

She already looks relaxed and happy, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her new family. Wishing her a life full of love, warmth, and endless tail wags ❤️
