KELLY & MORE THAN BELSTAR — A Story of Love and Joy

As a ranch and as a family of breeders, it's a true privilege to receive cards, letters, photos, videos, and texts from customers that bought a horse with us expressing their joy and loving relationship with their horse. In this case, we were blown away when we received the photos of Kelly's photo session with More than Belstar (More than Prizes x SAH Sadie Chick 505).

Kelly got in touch with More than Belstar in 2020 at our ranch and she knew almost immediately—she's the one! It was not only love at first sight, but over time Kelly also bonded with More than Belstar in a magnificent manner. In many ways, this horse became part of Kelly's family.

Lola De Wette—She Trains Horses to Become Partners

When you're looking for Lola you bet she is on horseback. One day as a kid, she was riding a Welch pony. While riding behind her I noticed that the pad was slipping out from underneath the saddle. I asked her to stop and got off my horse to fix the pad and discovered that Lola was riding with a loose cinch. She kept everything in balance with her body and sense of balance.

Today, she's no different in various ways—she trains horses by her very own Lola playbook and her well-balanced mindset. In whatever situation she seems to find that natural equilibrium with her equine four-legged friends. When asking and giving back, when gradually planning every incremental next step in her training approach, by the way she reads horses, etc. In every single aspect, she seems to find a balanced dialogue with the horse.

The horses she raised and trained reflect Lola's typical reassured balanced cool. Next to the technical training goals, athleticism, flexibility, and skillset, Lola knows how to conjure the relationship with the horse into a confident partnership that can overcome even the severest challenges.
