Because that is the foundation we never forget: offering horses, ponies and equestrian products in an accessible way, helping breeders and enthusiasts promote their animals to a wide audience.

More and more people are realizing that “Hollywood prices” often create a distorted view of the market.

Thinking carefully about what you have to offer, setting a reserve price, being patient and allowing the auction to do it's work, is something many people still need to get used to. Yet we continue to see an increasing sales percentage and receive more and more positive feedback that bidding at ESHA reflects the reality of today’s market.

During an auction, we are often asked: "Why hasn't anyone bid on my horse yet?"

Well, serious buyers do not rush in during the first few days. More often, they place their bids during the final minutes of the auction.

The majority of our customers are genuine horse people. They are willing to pay for a good horse, but they also understand the risks involved and know that developing a horse requires both time and money.

That is why we are confident offering a wide variety of horses and ponies. Buyers can judge for themselves what represents good value for money.

At the same time, we remain critical during the selection process. We ask for honest descriptions, recent veterinary examinations and prefer to provide extra photos and extended movement videos whenever possible. The days of “they’ll figure it out themselves” are long gone!

Helping customers make a well-informed decision and preventing disappointment afterwards remains one of our greatest strengths!
