Today Chubby had his very first show and boy did he do well!
With minimal training he really did his best to bring out the show animal in him. For now he prefers to let everyone feel his teeth than to look at them... 🫣

We don’t have many photos because we had to switch between the dogs quickly and it was too hot for us and the dogs to stay in the sun longer than necessary.
Velle had a difficult day because of the heat and because the 2 ladies are in heat at the same time 😬

Dag van de Bloeddonor – ook onze huisdieren hebben helden nodig!

Op deze Dag van de Bloeddonor staan we stil bij het belang van bloeddonatie – niet alleen voor mensen, maar ook voor dieren. Honden en katten kunnen bij ernstige verwondingen, operaties of bloedziekten levensreddende bloedtransfusies nodig hebben.

Bij honden hebben we veel minder bloedgroepen dan bij de mens. Deze match is bij de eerste transfusie minder van belang. Indien er nog transfusies volgen, bepalen we vooraf de juiste bloedgroep..

Op de foto zie je Jules, de hond van onze assistente. Hij is in het verleden bloeddonor geweest in onze praktijk – een echte held op vier poten! ❤️

At the tender age of 16 months old, Spicy ends his career in the youth class.
He has achieved some amazing results that we are very proud of!
He achieved no less than 6 youth titles, has been BOB 8 times and 1 time BOS.

We would also like to thank Spicy's breeders ( Erwin van Gerwen & Anita Van Gerwen Hefrings-Pride ) who gave us the opportunity to take this handsome gentleman into our home.

Now on to his next chapter, competing with the big boys in the show ring!
