The first ESAR conference (European Symposium on Animal Reproduction), a joint conference of both the ESDAR (European Society for Domestic Animal Reproduction) EVSSAR (the European Veterinary Society for Small Animal Reproduction) and the ECAR (European College for Animal Reproduction) in Nantes (France) was a great success and this partly due to a strong delegation from our department.
With representation as board members in the 3 organizations and at the pre-conference summer school, posters, oral communications, workshops and plenary sessions, our department was prominently present. Three plenary sessions, 8 oral communications, 12 workshops and 'how to' sessions, numerous posters, and a not-unnoticed role on the dance floor by our section staff 'colored' the meeting.
Lots of interaction and positive reactions across the board and as icing on the cake, Manon received the 'young scientist' award! Congratulations to all!
