𝙄𝙣 𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙒𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙧 𝙫𝙖𝙣 𝙙𝙚 𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙚𝙧𝙚 (𝟭𝟵𝟵𝟵 – 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱)
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to 𝗪𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿 𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗲𝗿𝗲, a horse who was never just a horse to us, he was part of our family. 💫
Born on our farm in 1999, he grew up in our fields, learned under our guidance, and proudly went on to reach the 1.50m level.
As a sire, he passed on his qualities to countless offspring. No less than 17 of his descendants have reached the 1.60m+ level in the sport. Among his most successful offspring are 𝙃𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 who won several international classes under Lucy Deslauriers; 𝙂𝙤𝙟𝙖 𝟮𝟳, one of Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann’s top horses; and 𝘼𝙮𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙙𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙤𝙣, who achieved numerous successes at the highest level with Kevin Staut.
Wandor earned the prestigious title of BWP Ambassador and was ranked 36th in the WBFSH Rolex Sire Ranking in 2016, a true recognition of the extraordinary stallion he was.
More than achievements or titles, Wandor gave us opportunities, unforgettable memories and a lifetime of pride. We are deeply grateful to Luis and Imelda for the love and care they gave him over the years, and for being part of our family 🫶🏻.
