Ginkgo Ginkgo Little Stars are growing fast🐵
This little ginkgo (in the “2026”photo) grew up from a seed fallen from an old ginkgo tree in Leuven. Unlike the falling apple hitting Newton’s head, this ginkgo seed had fallen on the ground long before Omama, Onono’s mama, accidentally stepped on it and picked it up.
Omama was not inspired to come up with any new law of physics, but she was driven by the ginkgo tree’s motherly instinct of duty. Looking at Ginkgo Omama, Omama promised to give this little ginkgo seed a chance to thrive. To increase chances of survival, Omama collected multiple seeds on the ground. Four seeds sprouted at last and became four Ginkgo Ginkgo Little Stars.
One year has passed, seeing so many people around the world cheering for the star monkey Punch’s first birthday, Omama and Onono are also celebrating the first birthday of Ginkgo Ginkgo Little Stars.
