This afternoon, we let the students reward and play with one dog after another 🐕💪
From a young 8-month-old dog to an experienced patrol dog. The dogs clearly had the time of their lives, and the students definitely worked up a sweat 😅

A great way to finish the week. Let the weekend begin 🍻☀️

Our third group of interns includes two students from the Netherlands who previously trained with us. The fact that they came back says more than words — we must be doing something right 🙏🐕‍🦺

Congratulations to our Leandro Declercq ! 🏆 He succesfully earned his certification with the ADRK in Germany. That is an IGP helper certification. The ADRK is the German Rottweiler Association.
On friday Leandro first trained with helper Markus Maaser before passing the theoretical exam. He went on to complete the practical assessement, where he had to work with puppy - demonstrating how to build up - and subsequently handle both an IGP 1 and an IGP 3 dog.
Leandro achieved his certification with outstanding results and we are incredibly proud of him.

Leandro workd in our boarding facility Best Friends and Belgian sheperd kennel Van De Duvetorre . In addition, he regularly assists us a helper.

Last week, we had the opportunity to train with a delegation from the Swiss Army in a football stadium. Our two Norwegian students were invited to join and observe.

At the stadium, they were in for a big surprise. Daniel, one of the Swiss handlers, challenged them to search part of the stadium for explosives using his impressive Belgian Malinois. The assignment initially overwhelmed the girls, and nerves quickly set in.

But Daniel had anticipated this. In a calm and reassuring way, he took them aside and carefully explained how his dog works. He then guided them step by step through the exercise.

Both young ladies successfully completed the task. Daniel truly ignited a spark in them—an experience they will never forget.

This was also a great example of coaching and building confidence in young talents.

Experiences like this are exactly why we do what we do.

We had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from the Swiss Army for three days 🇨🇭🐕‍🦺

It turned into three days of sharing passion for dogs—especially the Belgian Malinois—along with intensive exchanges on working dog training, detection, protection, and much more. Three days of learning from and with each other 🤝

An incredibly valuable experience and definitely something worth repeating! 🔁

A sincere thank you to our Swiss colleagues for their highly appreciated visit 🙏
This is a collaboration we absolutely want to continue! 🚀
