Today, Jeff Hnckx ftom Medtac_belgium returned to our training center for the second time with his K9 TECC workshop 🐾.
This time, he worked with a second group: members of our training team, handlers from K9 Detection Belgium , staff from our Best Friends kennel, and Phillipe from GoBobby K9 👥.
Once again, the participants were very enthusiastic 🙌.

Leash Control: The Hidden Language of Detection 🐾

In detection work, the leash isn’t just a tool—it’s a line of communication. Misused, it creates noise and confusion. Mastered, it becomes silent guidance that lets the dog shine.

Too often, handlers unknowingly detest their own dog’s performance by choking off natural flow with poor leash habits. Slack, tension, direction—all of it sends a message.
