🇬🇧 Yesterday, we said goodbye to a wonderful group of French students. 👋🐾

They completed an internship both with our colleagues at the Van de Duvetorre Kennels and Boarding Facility Best Friends and at our Training Center.

These three 17-year-old students were truly outstanding ambassadors for their school. Their motivation, professionalism, eagerness to learn, and positive attitude made them a pleasure to work with. We wish them every success in their future careers! 🍀🎓🐕‍🦺

🐕‍🦺💪 Training sleeve work with our young dogs while at the same time explaining the exercises to our French interns and giving them the opportunity to try it themselves.

Learning by doing is one of the best ways to understand working dogs. The dogs gained valuable experience, and the students got a hands-on introduction to protection training. 🇫🇷🐕🔥

Helper Leandro Declercq recently got his A+ IGP helper certificate. Leandro works in our kennel and boarding facility Best Friends and Van De Duvetorre . In this video you see him work with gsd female Amok von WM KADER from handler Didier Cordier in the club of Ostend ( KG42 De Noordzee vzw )

🇫🇷 Our French students were allowed to take several of our Belgian Malinois for a walk in the park this afternoon — and they did an excellent job. 👏🐕
The dogs too, by the way. 😄🐾

It’s always rewarding to see pups from our own breeding program, Van De Duvetorre , return for private training. 🐾
It gives us the opportunity to closely follow their development and work together toward the goals of the owner.

Zorro Van de Duvetorre ( R'thor Van't Keunekot X Viva la Vida Van de Duvetorre) and Timo are learning side by side, and both are doing very well. 💪
They are driven and motivated dogs, but at the same time they are able to stay calm and balanced when needed. 🐕🔥

The 3rd group of interns of this year finished their internship on Friday. This time, it was once again two Dutch students who completed an eight-week internship at our dog boarding kennel and training center. 🐕🎓

It always requires some extra organization and energy, but giving young people opportunities is truly valuable. 💪✨

We wish Mika and Essie the very best of luck in their future careers! 🍀👏

Our trainer Fabrice is teaching the French students how to properly play with a ball 🎾🐕. This is often underestimated. We understand the value of play as a reward and therefore believe it is important to invest time and energy into teaching it correctly 💪🎯🐾.

Fabrice is perfectly fluent in French 🇫🇷, which allows him to communicate with the students in their own language 🗣️🤝.
