দেখতে স্নো গ্লোব এর মতো মনে হলেও এটা একটা বিড়ালের মুত্রথলি (Urinary Bladder) এর আলট্রাসাউন্ড। কি হয়েছে? সহজ ভাষায় বললে ইনফেকশন। ভিডিওতে যেগুলো উড়তে দেখছেন সেগুলো পুজ, জমাট বাধা রক্ত আর ক্রিস্টাল। কেনো হয়েছে? বলা টাফ তবে অতিরিক্ত ক্যাটফুড আর পানি কম খাওয়া একটি মূল কারণ। যখন আমাদের কাছে পেশেন্ট আসে তখনও বুঝতে পারছিলাম না এতটা বাজে কন্ডিশন হয়ে আছে ব্লাডারের। আলট্রাসাউন্ড করতে গিয়ে দেখা যায় অলরেডি বেশটা দেরি হয়ে গেছে। দোয়া করবেন বাচ্চাটার জন্য। আর আরও বিস্তারিত জানতে চাইলে নিচের লেখা টা পড়ে ফেলতে পারেন, নাহয় স্কিপ করে যেতে পারেন।

সিম্বা! কাটা খাওয়া তার শখ। বাসার সবাই এ ব্যাপারে সচেতন, কেউ তাকে কাটা খেতে দেয়না। তাই সে রাগ করে বাইরে গিয়ে কাটা খেয়েছে। কিন্তু দুঃখজনক ব্যাপার হলো কাটা গেলা তার সম্ভব হয়নি। ক্লিনিকে যখন নিয়ে আসা হয় তখন অলরেডি চোখ মুখ নীল হয়ে গেছে, দম নিতে কষ্ট। এনেস্থিসিয়া ছাড়া কাটা বের করা অসম্ভব কারণ একটা কাটা অলরেডি জিহ্বা ফুটো করে এফোড় ওফোড় হয়ে গেছে। ভেবেছিলাম একটাই হয়তো বড় কাটা। রিস্ক নিয়ে এনেস্থেশিয়া দিয়ে কাটা বের করার মিশনে নামার পর অনেকটা সময়ের চেষ্টায় জিহ্বা থেকে কাটা ছাড়িয়ে আনার পর যখন স্বস্তির শ্বাস নেবো তখনই দেখি এর নিচে আরেক টুকরো উকি দিচ্ছে। সেটা বের করতেই আরেকটা। কিন্তু শেষটা ভয়াবহ ভাবে গলায় আড়াআড়ি ভাবে আটকে আছে। টানাটানি করলে গলায় রক্তপাত হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা। শেষমেশ বেশ খানিকটা চেষ্টার পর সাবধানতার সাথে কাটা উদ্ধার করা গেলো।

আমরা সবসময় বলি বিড়ালকে কাটা দিবেন না। কিন্তু বিড়াল নিজেই যদি নিজের পায়ে কুড়াল মারে সেক্ষেত্রে আর কিই বা বলার থাকে।
