Our shelter has been closed since 2017 due to lack of permanent/flexible donors, members and volunteers that was required to keep the shelter running. We hope that we will be able to reopen the shelter in the near future. Till then, this page will act as a platform for spreading awareness, writing adoption and rescue related posts.

FUNDRAISING POST: We are upgrading our SHA shelter by building kennels. As you can see in the pictures, the work of our kennel construction has started but is incomplete. We need your help and support to complete the construction that requires more funds. Every little penny counts so please come forward to help us in every little way you can. একা একা কিছুই করা সম্ভব না। আপনাদের মধ্যে যদি অল্প কয়জন ও Safe Haven For Animals (SHA) shelter কে সাহায্য করতে এগিয়ে আসেন ভলান্টিয়ার বা ডোনার হিসেবে তাহলে একাকৃত্ব ভাবে আমরা stray অনিমালস দের জন্য সুন্দর ভাবে এবং আরো effective ভাবে কাজ করতে পারবো।

Hi! My name is "Angel". I had a car accident in March 2017. I had to have one of my legs partially amputated. I am a fighter, and a brave soul. So what if I don't have one limb. I am a cheerful and a loving dog, and I am not at all inferior to my other furry friends. I love to run and play with my friends. I live in Safe Haven For Animals (SHA) shelter along with few of my other friends, who are up for adoption, and who are looking for sponsors too. Please sponsor me and be my foster parent.

Starting an animal shelter besides holding a full time job was not an easy task for me. However, after a lot of struggles and mental pressure, I managed to start an animal shelter with my salary. It is becoming really difficult for me to manage the shelter expenses (rent+caretaker's salary+ utilities+food+necessary equipment like exhaust fans,etc+making dog kennels) on my own. I don't want to put an end to something that I have worked so hard on, and I don't want my current shelter babies to be homeless either. Thus, I seek the support of all my well wishers, friends and family members, who know me personally, and are aware of my passion to be able to do something for the street animals.
