At Renata PLC, caring for the planet is more than a one-day effort; it is a core part of who we are which is evident in our Corporate Headquarters, Manufacturing Sites and Facilities. Although World Environment Day was on June 5th, we marked the occasion a little later due to the Eid holidays, celebrating it later through a meaningful initiative by our HSE and Communication Departments.

The highlight of the morning was a tree plantation campaign led by selective team members of our Mirpur Site and Corporate Headquarters, a meaningful act that not only symbolized our dedication to giving back to nature but also strengthened our collective pledge to build a greener, healthier tomorrow.

Gathering by Banani Lake under the global theme , Renata family came together to reflect on the shared responsibility towards our environment. The celebration unfolded with a series of engaging activities, beginning with an awareness rally that set the tone for the day. This was followed by inspirational speeches on sustainability and our role in creating a better future by Razib Hasan, General Manager, Project. He shared our environmental roadmap and SDG-aligned goals for the future and the importance of taking collective responsibility for the planet, while Nisbat Anwar, General Manager, Human Resources Division, also emphasized how every individual effort can contribute to a more sustainable world and how it is our moral responsibility to give back to the planet and community.

This event captured the spirit of unity and our shared commitment to protect the planet for generations to come. Thank you to 55Kodomtola and Banani Society for supporting us throughout this event.
