🐦Parakeets can surely have some honey as a marvelous treat. In fact honey can be used as a first aid also because it has natural antiseptic powers. But, honey is not recognized as a staple food for birds, therefore, they shouldn't have a lot of it. Well, you can add honey in minimum amount to the water you provide them, especially during winter, for it will not only make them drink more water during winter which seems to be a tuff yet significant task, but also make them feel warm from within. We would suggest you to avoid providing raw honey to your beloved feathered friends. Keep flying. 🌸

হিট ওয়েভ চলাকালীন সময় পাখির যত্নে -
√ পাখিকে গোসলের জন্য পানি দিন। পানির সাথে কিছু ছোট কচি শাক/পাতা ইত্যাদি দিতে পারেন। পাখি গোসল করতে না জানলে স্প্রে করুন।
√ পাখির পানিতে সপ্তাহে এক-দুবার পাখিদের স্যালাইন-ইলেক্ট্রোলাইট সংযোজন করুন। অথবা লেবুর রস ও দিতে পারেন।
√ অতিরিক্ত গরমে শরীর ঠান্ডা রাখতে মৌসুমি ফল দিন। পাখি যদি খাবার বেশি নস্ট করে তাহলে ফল কাটার পর পুরু খোসা (যেমন তরমুজের) কাটার সময় কিছুটা তরমুজ যেন খোসায় লেগে থাকে সেভাবে কাটুন এবং খেতে দিন।
√ প্রতিদিন খাবার পানি পরিবর্তন করুন।
√ দিনের বেলা (অন্তত দুপুরের কড়া রোদে ১২-৩ টা) পাখিকে রোদে রাখবেন না। যথাসম্ভব ঠান্ডা পরিবেশে ছায়ায় রাখুন।
