BanCroc Ltd. This page started as Reptiles farm Ltd. which is countries pioneer commercial crocodile farm. Since BanCroc Ltd. is a social business company.

We aim to educate the urban people in Bangladesh, especially children, about wildlife, bio-diversity and climate change issues. Crocodile Park & Nature Interpretation Center (CPNIC) will be the heart of the project built on 10 hectares of land. CPNIC will display all species of crocodiles live and also impart training for breeding & handling of crocodiles in captivity. CPNIC will conduct programme

s to spread education about wildlife conservation, bio-diversity and climate change issues, including how to avoid and reduce human-crocodile conflicts

Close cooperation with schools and other institutions is planned to reach these goals. CPNIC will apply to become member of World Association of Zoo & Aquarium (WAZA), and International Zoo Education Association (IEZA) and registered with Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) as scientific institution. The state of Louisiana has an annual harvest of about 20,000-30,000 wild alligators. There are more than 2 million in the wild in Louisiana alone and another 1 million in Florida. The Louisiana alligator hunts provide nearly 1 million pounds of wild meat to the food supply of the United States with a nearly 0 carbon footprint compared to other meat industries. The wild cull balances populations of alligators, and also provides vital scientific data to wildlife biologists on the overall population health. Louisiana’s commercial wild gator season also keeps the human/alligator conflict to a minimum by keeping the average alligator size to under 8 ft. Smaller alligators = less dangerous alligators. There has never (to date) been a fatal alligator attack in Louisana... you can thank a gator hunter for that! ❤️🐊 📷:
