Winter is coming. And for 60 rescued dogs in Bosnia, it could mean the difference between life and death.
Imagine 60 souls – once abandoned, beaten, or left to freeze on the streets – suddenly losing the only safe place they’ve ever known.
That’s the heart breaking reality we’re facing right now.
Our shelter is hanging by a thread. It isn’t just a building – it’s their sanctuary. Their first taste of love. Their only chance at survival. But unless we raise €2,180 by 10th November 2025, the doors will close.
And then?
No rent. No heat. No electricity.
No warm food. No safe beds.
No one to stroke trembling heads or whisper, “You’re safe now.”
Winter in Bosnia is brutal. Bitter cold. Heavy snow. Biting winds. Without shelter, these dogs will have nothing to protect them from freezing nights, empty bellies, and the loneliness they once knew too well.
Each of these 60+ dogs has a name, a face, a heartbeat. They’ve already survived the unimaginable – chains that scarred their necks, bones that healed from cruelty, eyes that once held only fear. And now, for the first time, they trust. They hope. They dream.
We cannot let that hope shatter. We cannot let them go back to hunger, fear, and cold.
