Rescuing stray cats from the streets of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina)

We are a group of friends and animal lovers who see the existing social problem of stray dogs and cats. Our capacities are very limited but we are highly committed to doing as much as we can. Due to a reduced number of dogs, stray cat population has increased and has thus become a new problem. We committed ourselves to the

alleviation of suffering of stray cats in Sarajevo (and other places in Bosnia and Herzegovina) by providing food, medical treatment, sterilization and finding homes. We have a few primary locations with cat colonies, but every street is our location as well. When we see a sick, abandoned and at-risk cat, we take action by moving the cat to a foster home, providing the cat with necessary veterinary treatment, and finding an appropriate forever home. We are truly grateful to anyone who can help with food, information, physical help or finances to make both cats and humans happy friends.

This is a ginger female kitten we named SUNNY 🌞

➡️ Our little beauty, besides having microsporosis, was also tested positive for corona 😔. Over the past few days, she's been off her food and had diarrhea, so we rushed her to the vet. Unfortunately, the corona test confirmed our worst fears 💔. We had to immediately isolate Sunny and another rescued kitten with who she's been playing, thankfully they're negative (since we needed to do the test for them too) 🙏.

Sunny received supportive therapy and serum right away and will continue her treatment in her care 🐾💊.

‼️🆘️ We're reaching out for help with the vet bill, as our expenses are piling up and support is scarce 🥹. Every little bit counts, and your contribution would mean the world to us ❤️.

● naucene su na pijesak, uredno ga koriste i prave su secerlamice
● 1 djecak, 3 djevojcice

Po preporuci veterinarke kupili smo mu Animu Strath i jos hrane da ima. Osim njega je tu jos jedna maca koju takodjer pazimo i hranimo, iako je vlasnicka. Nazalost ti ljudi nisu u mogucnosti da joj obezbjede uvijek hranu, ali vole zivotinje i pomazu nam sa Crnim, nahrane ga kad mi nismo u mogucnosti, tako da smo im bas zahvalni ❤️

Ispred naše kuće su ostavljena dva mačića – čisti su, razigrani, bez buha i krpelja i djeluju potpuno zdravo. Nažalost, ne možemo ih zadržati jer već imamo psa u kući koji ne podnosi mačke, pa im za sada možemo pružiti samo hranu i vodu u našem dvorištu. Ako je neko zainteresovan da im pruži siguran dom, ili zna nekoga ko jeste, molimo da nam se javi 🙏

‼️ Jos 2 dana antibiotika i uspjeli smo se izboriti sa ovim dijelom makar. 🎉

Crni stalno bjezi u ovaj podrum kad nas vidi, odmah misli da cemo ga opet hvatati 😓 U hranu mu se daje smrvljen antibiotik i za sada je bilo uspjesno, iza nas 6 dana terapiranja 🥰 Na videu se vidi sve, pribliziti se ne moze niko dok on to pojede, inace nista od terapije 😓

‼️ Jos se niko nije javio sa placanjem njegove tearpije, pa se nadamo da ce se neko javiti🙏🙏

💥 Veterinarka nam je preporucila da jos uzmemo Animu Strath i losos ulje, pa da mu se to stavlja u hranu u narednom periodu 🙏🙏

❤️ Nas djecak je poceo bolje jesti i manje mu cure bale iz usta 🎉🤗🤗❤️

We committed ourselves to reduce the suffering of stray cats in Sarajevo (and other cities in Bosnia) by providing food, medical treatment, sterilization and finding homes. We have two primary locations with cat colonies, but every street is our location as well. When we see sick, abandoned and at-risk cat, we take action by moving the cat to a foster home and finding an appropriate forever home. In one year that we are active, we found homes for more than 60 cats. We are truly grateful to anyone who can help with food, information, physical help or finances to make both cats and humans happy friends.
