Ovaj događaj je značio početak privrednog organizovanja u našem području. Zakonom o osnivanju Trgovačko-obrtničke komore iz 1909. godine prvi put je uređeno organizovanje Komore kao javno-pravne ustanove u Bosni i Hercegovini. Područna privredna komora Banja Luka (PPK BL) je dio komorskog sistema Republike Srpske, organizovana na osnovu Zakona o Privrednoj komori Republike Srpske (Sl. glasnik RS 65/08), Statuta Privredne komore RS i Statuta PPK BL. Privredna komora Srpske, zajedno sa pet područnih komora, organizovana je na evropskoj tradiciji i modelu austrijske i njemačke komore kao komora tzv. kontinentalnog tipa s obaveznim članstvom. Privredna komora je samostalna i nezavisna, stručno-poslovna asocijacija privrednih subjekata čije je sjedište na području djelovanja Komore. Privredna komora ima status pravnog lica. Crafts Association with 120 members was founded in 1902 in Banja Luka. This event marked the start of economic organization in our area. Law on Establishment of Chamber of Trade and Crafts in 1909 for the first time regulates the organization of the Chamber as a public-legal institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Professional chambers, mainly for agriculture, catering, trade and crafts were active until 1962. With the Law on Establishment of the unique Chambers of Commerce from 1962, there was constituted Chamber of Commerce, as the chamber of general type which represents all areas and branches of the economy equally. Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Banja Luka Region (CCI BL) is a part of the chamber system of Republic of Srpska, established by the Law on Chamber of Commerce of Republic of Srpska (Official Gazette of RS 65/08), the Statute of the Chamber of Commerce of RS and the Statute of CCI BL. Chamber of Commerce of RS, together with the five regional chambers, is organized in line with the European tradition and model of Austrian and German chambers as a so-called continental type chamber with mandatory membership. Chamber of Commerce is the autonomous and independent, professional and business association of business entities, whose headquarters are in the area of operation of the chamber.
