Butterball Silkies & Pekin Bantams I’m Georgie, I breed silkies in partridge & buff. I also have Pekin bantams in black, black cuckoo, buff & buff cuckoo. And my newest obsession….faverolles!

My kids have white & black silkies, bantam faverolles, splash/blue pekin & bantam barnevelders.

Evan has a small number of his pekins he is growing out. They are not mine, they are Evans. He owns both parent birds and showed both parent birds.
He chose who he wanted to keep.

He has three blue, one splash pullet and a splash cockeral.

For someone who is called Butterball Silkies & Pekin Bantams...I sure do love my rare breed birds too!

Fabio and a few of his girls, Sweetie the bantam faverolles rooster from Victoria with his girls, and Rosie and Evan have their little bantam barnevelder trio (Buster, Rose and Grace).

I am really loving the standard Faverolles. Fabio is not yet 7 months old but he is great. Oh...and Hoppy, the Houdan.

Wow what a day!

Considering I am sick with tonsillitis, I am very happy today.

My first show for 2026 and a fabulous result. I would like to thank judges Kevin Nordstrom and Dave Finlay, the Bullsbrook Poultry Club Wanneroo Show, sponsors and fellow competitors.
I was super proud today that my little black pekin pullet won Bird of Show, my first ever big win!
She also won Champion Soft Feather Heavy Breed Bantam and Best of Breed Pekin.
I was also super excited that my black pekin pair also won Champion Pair.
My faverolles boy Fabio won Best of Breed Soft Feather Heavy Breed AOV.

All up, I also won six 1sts, two 2nds and one 3rd

Evan won two 1sts, three ends and two 3rdd today with his birds.

I was so excited...I forgot to take any other photos of the other birds lol.

Evans black silkie boy purchased from Toodyay Silkie Chicks Tammi Boyd came 1st in his junior large lightweight Soft Feather.

Fabio looking very pleased, he finally got to meet his new girlfriend today, an older hen we had gotten from Chelsea Hughes that I can hatch from this season, as the younger girls I hatched in November and December 2025 will be too young.
