This weekend, less than 2 months from her very first competition, the baby of our team, Flowervale La Femme (Le Formidable x Florencio) competed in the 4yo classes at PSI Dressage & Jumping with the Stars. As Femme comes from a late maturing dam-line and has only been lightly worked, DJWTS was not something we had really aimed for, or committed to initially but as she has been consistently ticking boxes over the past few months we decided to enter. To say we are immensely proud of her is a huge understatement! She handled the enormous atmosphere like a pro coming mid-field in a very strong line up.

A massive heartfelt thank you to Chris Wilkinson SLH Performance Horses for giving her such an amazing stress free start under saddle and so much confidence on her competition journey including here at this massive show.

Thank you as always to the organisers of this amazing event and the sponsors and volunteers who make it possible.

Femme’s recovery over the weekend was aided by Kelato Animal Health EnduroLYTE paste.

That’s our girl!!
Not to be outdone by her daughter who was the highest scoring Rhineland Filly on the tour, our stunning Flowervale La Femme (Le Formidable x Florencio) has been awarded Highest scoring 3-5yo Rhineland mare on Tour AND Highest Scoring Mare Classification Overall!! We are extremely proud of our super mare whose scores included 9 for her head and 9 for type.

This weekend the baby of our team, Flowervale La Femme (Le Formidable x Florencio) had her very first outing competing in the 4yo classes at Boneo Park. 4yo classes were not something we had really aimed for or committed to initially but Femme has ticked so many boxes lately we decided to give it a try. To say we are immensely proud of her is a huge understatement! She handled the travelling, and stabling away from home like a pro. Despite feeling a little crowded in the warm up at times she knuckled down to work and handled the competition arenas amazingly well.

A massive heartfelt thank you to Chris Wilkinson for giving her such an amazing stress free start, both under saddle initially and now on her competition journey!

Due to a change in his owner’s circumstances, this stunning 2yo gelding is looking for a new dance partner.

Born 3 October 2023, this amazing embryo transfer gelding by 6yo & 7yo World Young Horse Champion, Kjento, from our stunning imported Elite KWPN mare Nefertiti Salland (Expression x Fuerst Heinrich x Gribaldi) is an absolutely stunning boy with a super sweet temperament and talent to match.

Sire: Kjento (Negro x Jazz)
Kjento’s pedigree, type, powerful gaits, and rideability, have captivated breeders since his approval. He was named Champion of his KWPN Stallion Test, earning no score less than 8.5, five scores of 9, and a 9.5 for his canter. He’s finished Reserve Champion at the PAVO Cup Finals, won the World Championships for Young Horses twice, and has been named the KWPN Stallion of the Year. He is now showing well at the Prix St. Georges/Intermediate level and is training all the Grand Prix work with ease.

Dam: Nefertiti Salland Elite KWPN (Expression x Furst Heinrich x Gribaldi) is a beautiful mare who passed her IBOP (performance mare test) with over 80% at just 3yo prior to being imported to Australia. She has produced a number of outstanding foals for us here at Flowervale.

This exceptional gelding has Grand Prix blood coursing through his veins, evident in his natural ability to sit and come up in front and to shorten and lengthen his frame with the greatest of ease.
