Allan Kehoe abides by the belief that “patience is a good thing”!

Thus the Wyong Race Club trainer has decided to pull the pin on a planned Brisbane assignment with his talented two-year-old Shaggy this weekend.

When Shaggy drew barrier 16 in a field of 17 for the Listed Oxlade Stakes (1200m) at Eagle Farm on Saturday, Kehoe didn’t have to think twice.

A DREAM RESULT ON ANZAC DAY!

It looked all over at the 200m marker but when the tear away leader had a think about it DREAMDEEL pounced nailing the win on the post. 0.01L means it couldn’t be closer and the experienced mare brought up win number 7 for Miss Basson. $267,600 in stakes and this was an astute ride from the young gun Mitch Stapleford.
